Life Update: A Season of Changes

Hello lovelies, it’s been a while hasn’t it? I couldn’t believe it myself when I saw that the last I’d posted to my Instagram was about a month ago!

Honestly, I didn’t even realize how much time had passed because these last four weeks have been quite the ride, let me tell you. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, the shift in seasons has stirred up the beginnings of many changes to my life, personally.

The first of many of those changes is that I have officially begun the process of changing my name – well, truncating it to be more precise. In my mind and heart, I have always been Aimesha Kurbah – no more, no less – and I have mostly referred to myself as such, including on my socials. There is much history behind it all, but I won’t go into it further. At least, not for now.

The second is a change to my state of employment. A new job, a new chapter awaits me and I am very much looking forward to it. I’ll forever be grateful to my friend and lou, Boo Boo, for sending the ad for it my way because I had completely missed it by myself. What I did to be blessed with the best friends I have, I’ll never know.

As for the rest, I’ll keep those to myself. I just wanted to let you guys know that I’m good; and that the happiest moments I’ve had these last few weeks were the simplest: just me, my loved ones, my boyfriend and my cat just chilling and enjoying some lovely sunshine and great food (of course).
