Welcome to Part Two of my Floral Dresses Edit.
The first time I laid eyes on this dress, I pictured myself wearing it to someone’s Spring wedding. It never happened, but I got the dress anyway – and it’s fifty-five percent off at the moment so let me know if you pick it up!

Prints are a tricky thing to get right. Trinny Woodall (of What Not to Wear fame) said that if you wear a print and people notice the print before your actual face, then it’s too overwhelming. She has other great styling advice on her YouTube channel. I just adore her energy and love of sequins.

Purple, lavender, lilac – whatever your shade, it’s been huge this year. I spent a long time looking for a good pair of heels in hues of purple until I landed on this pair. I saw them in green on one of my best friends (here’s looking at you, Koo) and she looked great in them so in my virtual shopping bag they went.

To complete the outfit for the slightly colder weather we’ve been having, I added a trench-style coat and a great camel-coloured handbag from Allen Solly – which is also on sale for fifty-one percent off! It’s a great basic handbag to have. Classic in structure and colour; and with the coat on? I mean, just imagine me as an extra in Sex and the City already.
Part Three of my Floral Dresses Edit (basically, my excuse to wear the dresses I bought for Spring-Summer that I never got the chance to) will be coming up next so stay tuned.
